Shri R. Anand is an Agriculture Engineer from Tamil Nadu Agriculture
University, Coimbatore. He has over three and half decades of total experience in
various institutions. He joined NABARD in the year April 1993, after serving
Govt. of Tamil Nadu till March 1993. In NABARD, he worked across the country,
has a wide experience in the field of Agriculture and Rural Development. He has
worked in core Business Departments and Development Departments in various
capacities. Presently, he heads of the Off-Farm Sector Development Department
in NABARD.
He was on Board of one Regional Rural Bank as Nominee Director and presently
as a Director on the Board/ Governing Body of all Agri/ Rural Business
Incubation Centres (ABIC) supported by NABARD. He is NABARD’s Nominee on
the Social Stock Exchange Advisory Committee and the NSE Social Stock
Exchange.
