About
Ashwajit Singh is the Founder and Managing Director of IPE Global - one of the largest South Asia-
based development sector organisations operating across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Headquartered
in New Delhi, India, with five international offices in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, the Philippines,
and the United Kingdom, IPE Global has successfully undertaken over 1200 assignments in more
than 100 countries, partnering with bilateral and multilateral agencies, national governments, and
the private sector, including USAID, FCDO, World Bank, ADB, JICA, WHO, NITI Aayog, UN agencies
etc. impacting over 600 million lives globally. With over 30 years of experience in the social sector,
Ashwajit has led numerous impactful programmes and shaped policy frameworks to address
development challenges and create sustainable outcomes.
A Chartered Accountant (AF Ferguson) and Company Secretary (Gold Medallist), he has been former
Central Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Chairman of
the Capital Markets Committee of ICAI. An avid speaker and contributor to leading publications, he
has been a regular writer with the ICAI journal.
An accomplished professional, he holds several leadership roles, serving as Chairman of Triple
Line Consulting (a UK-based IPE Global Group company), Director of Maternity Foundation
(Denmark), and Senior Advisor to SAMRIDH - India’s first blended finance facility for healthcare
supported by USAID, which won the 2022 Global P3 Impact Award for its innovative partnership
approach and impact. He has also been former Chair of the Public Administration and
Management–Technical Advisory Panel (PAMNET) at the Africa Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF).
Most recently, he was elected as a Member of the Board of Trustees with the India International
Centre, New Delhi.
Ashwajit’s contributions have been recognised with several national and international awards,
including the India UK Achievers Award, BW Social Impact Leader Award; Social Entrepreneur of the
Year, 12th Modernites' Excellence Award; Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award; Distinguished
Alumni Award, Shri Ram College of Commerce from the (Late) Honourable Finance Minister of India
Shri Arun Jaitley, CA Global Achiever Award by ICAI; Global Punjabi Society Achiever Award by
Former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He has also been ranked among the Top 10
Global CEOs in Consulting & Business Services.
An Inlaks Scholar, he is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, the London School of Economics and
Political Science, Shri Ram College of Commerce, and Modern School.
