Dr. Harish Ahuja
Dr. Harish Ahuja is the Head of Sustainability, Product & Strategy
Development (Power & Carbon Markets), Primary Market
Relationships, and the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) at the
National Stock Exchange (NSE).
He also serves as a Director on the Boards of Power Exchange
of India Limited, RXIL Financial Technologies Services, RXIL
Global IFSC Limited, Receivables Exchange of India Limited, and
India International Bullion Exchange IFSC Limited.
An ex-civil servant with 27 years of experience, Dr. Ahuja has worked extensively across
energy markets, infrastructure, and climate finance in both government and corporate
sectors. Prior to transitioning to the corporate sector in 2011, he served in the Ministry of
Power, Government of India, the Government of NCT of Delhi, and the Administration of
Andaman & Nicobar Islands. He also embarked on an entrepreneurial journey as the
Founder of India Go Solar—the country’s first solar e-commerce marketplace.
Dr. Ahuja holds an M.Tech from IIT Delhi, an MBA from NTU Singapore, and a Ph.D. in
Electricity Markets from IIT Delhi. He is the author of the book “Reforming Power Sector
Reforms: Multiple Conflicts, Democratic Solution.”
In addition, he is a member of the ICSI Sustainability Board and the ICAI Social Auditor
Board.
